Roommate wanted to share my two bedroom house located on a quiet one lane street in Laurel Park, Northampton.
The room is medium sized and has an adjoining private bathroom. There is a beamed ceiling, painted pine floor, and 3 windows with views of old growth pine trees and a flower garden. The room comes with a bed and a desk.
The house has an eat in kitchen, and large living room with a wood stove and grand piano. There is a washer and dryer and off street parking in my driveway. The property abuts the Fitzgerald Lake Conservation Area, and there are forested trails for hiking.
The rent is $1000 month to month and includes heat, electricity, gas, water, snow removal and internet. Short term or long term are both acceptable, but I require first and last months rent, references and a security deposit. Move in date is flexible.
About me: I am a semi-retired music professor, artist and writer. I am quiet, warm, creative, quirky, progressive, and calm. I’m neat but not fastidious, enjoy my alone time but would also welcome a shared meal on occasion or perhaps a game of scrabble. I like to read, draw, travel, meditate and maintain a healthy life style. I have a cat, so any roommate would have to like kitties. I may be open to a housemate with a cat.
