Local dumpster/hauling company looking for a reliable part-time yard worker. Great fit for someone who wants flexible hours and doesn't mind working outside and getting their hands dirty.
Schedule:
• Part-time, flexible — 10-20 hrs/week depending on workload
• Afternoons preferred (when full containers come back to the yard)
• Weekends available too
• No inclement weather work — if it's bad out, you're not expected in
• 3-hour minimum paid per shift
What you'll be doing:
Sorting material coming in off the trucks
• Pulling and sorting valuable scrap (steel, brass, etc.)
• Keeping the yard clean and organized
• Misc. jobs as needed: lettering/painting dumpsters (we'll train you), picking up truck supplies (fuel reimbursed), washing/cleaning trucks
What we need from you:
• Reliable — if you're scheduled, you show up
• Diligent — attention to detail sorting materials, not just going through the motions
• Comfortable with physical, outdoor work
• Own transportation to get to our Andover yard
No experience necessary, we'll show you the ropes. This is a good fit for someone wanting steady part-time work with real flexibility around your schedule — students, retirees, or anyone looking to supplement their income.
