Duties and responsibilities include the following:
Installation of: Intrusion Alarms, Home Automation, CCTV and Access Control Systems, along with other various security related systems.
Working with, networking, TCP/IP, switching, routing, virtual route forwarding and VLANs.
Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs, as necessary.
Perform upgrades and additions to systems to increase functionality utilization.
General Requirements:
TST License Data Video Telep Sound Telecom Technician
Strong work ethic and integrity.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to meet Rhode Island state licensing requirements. (B.C.I. Background Check)
Valid Driver's License with clear driving record.
Participate in our on-call rotation.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently.
Experience with Honeywell, DSC & Napco panels a plus.
