Roles & Responsibilities:
• Estimating: Perform take-offs and generate master budgets for large
custom homes and light commercial construction
• Sales and customer interaction. Develop a detailed understanding of
BCPH products including prefabrication and mass timber, communicate product scope to a broad audience via mail-outs and social media.
• Prepare/review construction details. Including review for enveloping
best practice and energy efficiency
• Assist in the preparation of bid documents, creating clear and concise
scopes of work.
• Company CRM Management/Upkeep.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree or Diploma in Building Technology or Estimating and/or a
combination of relevant industry experience
• MS-Office (competency with MS-Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
• Basic understanding of construction materials and techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic Drafting experience such as AutoCad 2D is an asset.
• Experience with construction estimating software is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret Architecture and Engineering documents
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents
• A willingness to learn new tasks and stay on top of a constantly evolving
industry
