I welcome ALL local car dealers, repair shops, service centers, and collision centers that do not have a regular programming guy. I can usually be there on the fly, just text or email first.
A new website is currently under construction.
COST OF RADIO UPGRADE IS SEPARATE FROM COST OF UNLOCKING/ACTIVATIONS. Radio must be purchased separately. Can be purchased from eBay or a junkyard. Either unlocks the same. I can also help guide you to the correct purchase for your vehicle.
Radio must be installed in vehicle before it can be unlocked. I can assist with the installation. The price is $100 per radio/vehicle.
I can do what most dealers even say they can't, even on a newer vehicle. I can also reprogram replacement modules for GM vehicles like the ECM, BCM, Anti-Lock Brake Module, TCM, Transfer case module, as well as the airbag component modules.
I am offering GM Vehicle radio unlocking and activation for half the price of the dealers (Dealers usually charge $200 per radio/vehicle for what they claim is an hour of work, but, is really only about 20 minutes or less). I can also help you find or upgrade the radio for your GM vehicle as long as it is a compatible type. In some cases, the VIN of the donor vehicle is good to have for proper configuration, but, is usually not necessary due to possibly your vehicle having a different configuration. Text or email with questions, also, let me know the year, make, and model of your vehicle and we can make an appointment. I can even come to you if needed. If your searching for a radio upgrade, I can help advise you of the correct upgrade for your vehicle if you do not have one already.
I can help you also prepare an upgraded OnStar Module for activation, however, I do not have the capability to change the VIN or vehicle profile on OnStar's system.
Some things to keep in mind:
Most GM radios are cross compatible, however, it is always better to have a radio that matches your vehicle's brand.
All GM MyLink/Intellilink/Color Touch radios (featured in pictures) from 2013-2017 Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Buick Enclave are backwards compatible with all GM vehicles 2006-2017 that have the radio with the squared face, display at top, and CD at the middle with the big volume knob in the lower middle front except for Saturn VUE, ION, and Chevrolet Aveo, Cobalt, and HHR.
If you have a Chevrolet Traverse or GMC Acadia with the radio currently in Color Touch mode (Chevrolet Bowtie or Plain GMC logo with no Bluetooth connection available), I can help upgrade it to using MyLink/Intellilink mode, however, the same fee still applies, and, you may still need a microphone or plug for the OnStar module to use it's microphone.
If you get or want a navigation capable radio, you may need an additional navigation antenna. NAVIGATION IN THE RADIOS IS HARDWARE BASED ONLY, not software based. If a radio does not have navigation capabilities, navigation cannot be programmed or unlocked into a radio. Same goes for Bluetooth operation as well.
Mylink/Intellilink and navigation radios also require an additional connection to the OnStar module, or, an additional microphone for voice command and phone calls via Bluetooth.
Vehicles older than 1999 may not be compatible with newer programmable radios. Vehicles made from 1999 to 2004 are not compatible with radios made for vehicles 2005 or newer. Some vehicles made from 2004 to 2006 may not be compatible with radios made for vehicles from 2006 to 2017.
Will do programming and assist in upgrading newer than 2017 (HMI) based radios as well.
The same rules also apply to OnStar.
Ask about Factory Remote Start Activation Services as well for GM Vehicles 2006 and newer ONLY. Entire VIN of your vehicle IS required for this service to research and verify a proper match. Not responsible for ANY non-specified modifications to vehicle firmware that will be eliminated in Factory Remote Start Upgrade.
Please note: If doing a MyLink Radio Upgrade, and, a Factory Remote Start Upgrade on the same vehicle, the charges will be separate as 2 separate VINs will be required to do the programming for each and that GM charges per VIN subscribed to/used.
If the radio or module does not work or accept programming, there will still be a minimal charge of $75.00 for the subscription fee only. Please make sure that you have purchased a working radio and/or module.
I will try my very best to program any radio or module you bring me, however, some have pre-existing failures that may make them un-programmable.
Sometimes, unable to program some Denso Navigation radios to some vehicles, so, it is recommended to use a MyLink/IntelliLink/MyFi radio instead for AIO radio replacements.
The only factory NAV radios known to be immune to this issue are the MyLink/IntelliLink radios.
Please choose wisely. Thank you.
