Examples of typical chores: Sanding, painting and staining; cutting down brush; spraying herbicide (with mask and gloves); some gardening; digging up and relocating plants (landscaping type work); cutting down small trees; moving and stacking logs; some spreading of gravel; using a weed wacker; a small amount of mowing; car washing; minor car maintenance (checking oil and other fluids, checking tires, etc.); other typical types of outside chores as the need arises.
If you make your vehicle available for picking up supplies for me, I will reimburse you at the rate of 50ยข per mile for the use of your vehicle as well as for your travel time.
This is a good job for a student because the work-schedule is very, very flexible. But anyone may apply.
Work can be scheduled for the early morning, mid-day, afternoons and up to dusk. And it can change from one day to the next, if that works for you. You can work week days and/or weekends. Any given week you may wish to work just one day or 3 days or not at all. A day's work can be as little as a 3 hours or as much as 5 hours, you decide.
Pay is negotiable.

* I'm not interested in hiring someone who I feel lives too far from me. The closer you are, the greater the likelihood you will wish to continue to work for me. My rule-of-thumb is no more than 20 minutes away, but I am willing to make exceptions if there are good reasons. --- Just go to Google Maps, put in your address along with 1686 Monacan Trail Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903 (that's not my address but it is close). Google Maps should give you both the mileage and travel time between those addresses which is what I then need for you to pass-along to me.
