Selling my beloved Vandys, only because I finally upgraded to newer ones. The Vandersteen Model 2 is the best selling audiophile speaker of the modern era, yet the average music listener has never even heard the name. They regularly make the short lists of "best buys" in the various high-end audio mags, like Stereophile and Absolute Sound. The latest version of this speaker sells for $4190/pair + taxes and freight!

If you're looking for as authentic sound reproduction as you can get without breaking the bank, these may be what you've been searching for. Now if you like unrealistically exaggerated bass, or an unnaturally forward, "in your face" kind of sound, these are definitely not for you.

Glad to audition for serious buyers. I run these on a 30W/channel tube amp, so they'll get loud, but not as loud as they're capable of. Tell me what music you like, or better yet, bring 2 or 3 discs of your own, and we'll cue them up.

Included are the optional lead-filled Sound Anchors stands for the best bass response and phase-coherence, along with removable spikes. I also have the original shipping boxes for both the speakers and stands, plus full owner's manual.
