Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Form Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling formwork for concrete foundation.
Duties
Interpret construction plans and blueprints to accurately construct formwork for various concrete structures.
Build and assemble formwork using hand tools, power tools, and metal stud framing techniques.
Install rebar reinforcement according to technical drawings and safety standards.
Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools to facilitate efficient pouring and shaping of concrete.
Pour, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision, ensuring smoothness and adherence to specifications.
Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for all team members.
Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for formwork setup, rebar installation, and concrete pouring tasks.
Maintain detailed records of work progress, safety inspections, and project milestones.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction with a focus on concrete forming, finishing, or related trades.
Strong mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, saws, and cutting equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus.
Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Skills in rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, plastering, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, metal stud framing, and concrete pumping are highly desirable.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting.
Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively on diverse projects.
