1960 Fender Super Amplifier Brown with JBL speakers - $4,200 (Norco)

This amplifier is a Fender Super with a brown Tolex covering. It was built in October of 1960 according to the 2 letter date code on the tube chart which is JJ and the serial number which is 01913. The amp has had a busy club life and shows a lot of battle scars like wear spots in the Tolex and stains and cigarette burns. The handle is a replacement as is the Presence knob and both rear panels. Then original speakers were replaced years ago by a pair of orange JBL D-110F speakers. The power transformer is dated to the 6th week of 1973 so it was probably replaced around the time the JBL speakers were installed. The amp has been serviced within the past year and the original caps are included.
This amp sounds great especially the JBLs. It has the vintage harmonic tremolo that makes it feel like the whole room is moving. This amp is a nicely reliced investment with the sound vintage players crave.
$4200 or trade. Will consider trades plus cash deals as well.
