Handcrafted Ming Shaker-style dining set in solid cherry — includes a table with two extension leaves and six matching Windsor-style chairs. Warm, honey-toned cherry grain with a rich patina from age. Chairs feature traditional spindle-back joinery with mortise-and-tenon construction, wedged and pinned throughout.
Table: Solid cherry, Ming Shaker style, walnut-toned matte finish. 72"L x 42"W x 30"H, extends to 116"L with both 22" leaves inserted.
Chairs: Set of 6 Windsor-style, solid cherry, 18" seat height.
Condition: Excellent. Leaves have aged with the table for consistent, matched color throughout.
Maker: Jas. Becker (jasbecker.com), a New England custom furniture craftsman who trained at Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers before opening his own shop in 1987, now based in Manchester, VT.
Seats 6-8 comfortably with both leaves in. A well-built, timeless set that will outlast anything from a big-box retailer.
