seeking an experienced architectural millwork installer for a high-end commercial office installation in Midtown Manhattan.
We're a growing commercial millwork installation company looking for a skilled, dependable carpenter to work directly alongside the owner on an initial project, with opportunities for continued work on future installations.
Initial Scope of Work:
Architectural wood wall panels and decorative finishes
Commercial cabinetry and pantry installations
Countertops and shelving
Z-clips, concealed fastening systems, scribing and field adjustments
Installation of prefinished architectural millwork
Strong finish carpentry skills and attention to detail
Reliable transportation to Manhattan jobsites
Own basic hand tools
Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for someone who takes pride in precision, understands how to handle expensive finished materials, can troubleshoot field conditions, and works well as part of a small crew.
Experience with high-end NYC commercial interiors is strongly preferred.
Compensation & Opportunity:
Starting compensation target is $40/hour, subject to qualifications and applicable wage requirements. Initial assignment is project-based, with the potential for ongoing work.
