The Roo Pub New Braunfels is hiring line cooks for our newest location at 2055 Central Plaza, Suite 102 in Freiheit Village.
PAY: $15 to $19 per hour, based on experience
SCHEDULE: Full-time and part-time shifts available. Nights, weekends, and holidays required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prep, cook, and plate menu items to spec across grill, fryer, flat top, and saute stations
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized through service
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and portion standards
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front of house during rushes
- Help with opening and closing duties, product rotation, and deep cleans
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1+ year of line cook experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant kitchen preferred; we will train the right person with less experience
- Texas Food Handler certification, or ability to get one within 30 days of hire
- Able to stand for long shifts, lift 50 lbs, and work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, on time, and a team player with a good attitude
- Must be 18 or older
