I have recently experienced some hard times in life and am looking for some help in any way someone can. I was injured at work, causing chronic pain in my knee, difficulty walking, and my doctor to put me out of work. I have been referred to a surgeon for the problem, and have an active workers comp case for it.
Unfortunately I have to be out of the place I am renting by October 30th as it is being sold. I was renting a room within a house.
I have not yet received lost wages payments from the case as it still has more processing and investigation that must be done, however I was approved for payments by the state. So no matter if the workers comp approves or not, I have payment incoming. However I am stuck in a waiting limbo until this is all processed at the moment.
I am looking for a room to rent for one month, hopefully as cheap as possible, or anything really. I have two cats who are very well behaved and friendly. They do not spray or tear things up. I would keep them and the litter box in the room at all times. I have an air purifier which, paired with regular box cleanings, keeps the room smelling fresh.
I am 31, male, sober, quiet and clean. I have worked over 50+ hours a week the last year and am responsible.
I am trying to get together as much money as I can however I do not reasonably expect to be able to pay an entire months worth up front. I might be able to get about 4-500. I do not have a support system or family I can ask for help. I am willing to relocate anywhere in Delaware.
This has all just been a very stressful experience for me and I am doing everything I can not to be homeless or lose my cats because of this. I have had my cats for 8 years since they were big enough to fit in my hand.
If anyone can help me with a place to stay for just a month I have no problem paying you or helping in any way. I am a great cook, and I have 8 years of professional lawncare and landscaping experience as well from my early adult years.
