I am a small manufacturer of solid hardwood flooring on my farm in Southwest Wisconsin. Though my operation may be small, I have excellent industrial equipment and take a lot of care and pride in the manufacture of my product. Only local species of trees such as Oak, Hickory, Elm, Ash, Cherry and Walnut are used. My flooring is kiln dried, unfinished, 3/4" thick, tongue and grooved and precision end trimmed solid wood, and it will outlast your house. Most of my flooring is square edged. That is the only way to get a flat floor, but I can also mill a microbevel. The lengths are random and longer than average.
I am having a sale on character grade Black Walnut for $5.95 per square foot, in a random mix of 3, 4, 5 and 6 inch widths. This mix further adds to the charm of the character, which is stunning in its naturally elegant beauty. A mix of the good looking rustic knots as well as gorgeous clear wood, along with all of the rich organic color and grain variations, wrap you up in a warm, cozy, at home feel. Nothing beats the look of real wood.
I can also mill your own wood from forest to finished flooring, or whatever you would like.
The pictures are from floors I have made.
