We have a 6 year old cow, that hasn't calved in 2 years. She has was raised on our property and never given antibiotics or medications. She is big and healthy, grass fed on our 30 acres. She is not thin and should be marbled nicely, but also a little older. I have butchered cows this age for our family and loved the steaks and cuts. Some people prefer to make mostly burger at this age. That is up to you.
We're asking $4.00 for the whole cow hanging weight or $4.75 for half. you pay kill fees and cut and wrap. $100 deposit per half.
We are scheduled for November 5th. Kill fee is $150, cut and wrap will be done at sharp custom cutting in Hubbard oregon, Cut and wrap is $1 a pound
