This Specialized StumpJumper is a classic mountain bike with Tange chromoly steel frame and chromoly fork. It has been turned into more of a gravel/urban cruiser with brand NEW Panaracer Gravelking tires ($90 value for the tires alone). The original finish still looks decent but the bike does have quite a bit of patina, providing some good vintage “clout”. This bike rides amazingly smooth for the vintage and would make a great recreational rider or neighborhood cruiser. The bike could handle easy off-road trails and terrain with a swap of tires.
In addition, the following work was done:
- greased front and rear wheel bearings
- removed and greased quill stem
- installed new shift cables (new) and replace the housing
- replaced rear brake pads
- installed new chain
- installed new grips
- installed new tubes and rim tape along with the new tires
With a 53cm effective top tube and a 39cm seat tube (c-c), this bike sizes like a 16.5" (center to top) and should fit most riders in the 5'4" to 5'7" range.

The logos have been faded and worn from time (see photo). Mechanically, the bike is fully tuned and ready to ride.
