The GT Bicycles Youth Series includes the GT Stomper Pro 26, a junior mountain bike built specifically for children and young teens transitioning to adult-sized trails.
This GT could also make for a good commuter bike for traveling to school or practice. It can also handle smooth dirt, packed gravel and also paved streets or paved paths. This versatile bike features a rugged, lightweight aluminum frame with GT's distinctive triple triangle design and a Zoom 565 All Terra suspension fork. It has a simple 1x7 drivetrain to make riding easy and fun. This would make a great “big kids” bike.
The official size is Extra Small and the manufacturer recommends this size frame for most riders in the 4'8" to 5'2" range.
This bike features a 6061 aluminum frame and it is equipped with a MicroShift Mezzo rear derailleur, Microshift M29-7 twist shifter, mechanical disc brakes and 26x2.10” tires. The kickstand is also very handy.
This bike is in Good condition overall with a few cosmetic scrapes and scuffs here and there. There are some scrapes and scratches along the top tube (see last photo for close-up). The rear tire has more wear than the front (as is common), but the rear tread is still decent for recreational riding or commuting. The bike is mechanically sound, tuned and ready to ride.
Product Description from the Manufacturer:
“Built with the same attention to detail as our adult bikes, the Stomper 26" has a lightweight aluminum frame with geometry perfected for younger rippers wanting to hit the singletrack. Suspension fork, microShift gearing, disc brakes, and Kenda tires mean this bike is built right and rides right.
