Sr Construction Project Manager
Bay Scenery is a multi-service contractor serving the San Francisco Bay Area, delivering high-quality Landscape, Pool, and Construction projects for residential and commercial clients.
We are expanding its commercial construction division and are looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead that growth. You'll be the face of the company on-site and with clients — overseeing day-to-day construction activities, managing teams and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec.
Job Description:
● Face of the company:You are the face of the company. Must CARE about our clients and understand that there is always a human side to our business.
● Site visits: Visiting various construction sites to oversee day-to-day construction activities, quality standards, and project timelines.
● Team Management: Coordinate and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
● Project Planning: Contribute to project planning and scheduling, collaborating with the Field Supervisor to develop work plans and ensure timely completion of milestones.
● Work Progress: Monitor work progress and quality of construction, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
● Allocate Resources: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to optimize project efficiency and control costs.
● Communication: Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, and management, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
● Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, implementing solutions to keep the project on track and within budget.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related experience.
● Must have experience with pool construction, ADU projects and landscape construction
● At least 5-7 years of proven experience in construction site management, with thorough understanding of construction processes
● Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and blueprints.
● Experience and understanding of various city permitting requirements
● Excellent client and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
