In the pictures:
The left mouse is in "looks great" condition and is ready for a photoshoot.
The right mouse has tiny scuffs on the top and a cosmetic crack if you look really close -- the scuffs and 1.2cm crack are captured int the "angled" pictures.
The right mouse's battery lid has a tiny cosmetic dent. I tried to capture the "dent" in the photos but could not. It doesn't do anything to weaken "holding the batteries in." It is more a blemish than a dent, but if I was you (the buyer) I'd want me (the seller) to overcommunicate so that's what I'm doing.
These both take 2 AA batteries (this magic mouse model is not the one you had to flip over and charge with a USB cable).
The battery compartments are clean (see pictures).
Asking $50 for both.
My recommendation: if you want a Magic Mouse for you and your pre-schooler, this works out great - your child won't notice the scuffs and you get a pristine one for yourself. The kid won't be any the wiser and will totally think you're both using the same quality amazing Apple Magic mice!
If this post is up, the mice are still available. I will take down the ad when they are sold. In your email, propose a time/date you want to come to Mountain View to pick them up and I will confirm my availability (I have a flexible schedule - anytime will likely work for me). If you send your phone number, let me know if you prefer me to text or call you back.
