Bernie does not run right now because the engine does not run or is not running any more.
I purchased a conversion kit for a carburetor on the engine but he says the parts may not be right and if he takes the engine apart it will be more trouble if I do not have the right parts which I bought from JBug.
This is a rare car and needs a new owner who can put a new engine and other things to make it run, but it is a rough boy who lived in Laguna Beach and so there is rust, but the shell of the original Bernie is still there.
Bernie is rusty, but original. I replaced the dash with a cover and put new radio with bluetooth and speakers that are great.
New tires.
When running this was so fun, but I cannot deal with the repairs anymore as my situation needs Bernie to find a new family.
I got Bernie from my College Girl Friend who lived in Laguna Beach. Great History.
Was going to take to Tijuana to have body restored cheaper, but alas, you can do this for Bernie.
