This antique tea cart was made by the Imperial Furniture Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan probably sometime between the 1930's and 1950's. It has a green crackled paint finish and hand painted floral detailing on the drop leaves and some on the top. The top shows some fading and discoloration from age which adds to the patina of the tea cart. It has large wooden wheels on one end and and 3"wooden wheels on the other end that are the original wheels. There is a removable glass tray that sits on the top or on the bottom shelf. The sides drop down but can be easily raised and pop up to give you more table space. It has a handle on one end that pulls up to move the cart and then folds down out of the way when not needed. The tea cart is 27"long x 18"wide x 28"high. The drop leaves are each 11" wide. When both leaves are up the top is 50" wide. This is a very unique piece that is a one of a kind tea cart and ready for a new home. It is in excellent condition in spite of its age.
