SCRIPT AVAILABLE — TWO‑ACTRESS URBAN DRAMA (SHORT ONE‑ACT)
A short, two‑actress drama script is available for actresses, filmmakers, directors, acting students, or anyone interested in grounded, character‑centered material.
Two Dresses is an intimate one‑act set on the stairwell of a city apartment building in the fragile hour where late night meets early morning. Maya, exhausted and unraveling after a long night out, waits for a friend who never returns. Catherine, a calm woman beginning her early Sunday morning, crosses paths with her. What follows is a quiet, human exchange about beauty, worth, exhaustion, disappointment, and the unexpected kindness that arrives when someone shows up at the exact moment you’re falling apart.
It’s a simple, two‑woman piece with emotional depth, realism, and a gentle spiritual undercurrent. One location, minimal staging, and a focus on connection rather than spectacle. Works as a short film, a stage piece, or a scene study.
