Premium Chicken Coop with Attached Run (11.5 ft Long Total)
Heavily modified/Upgraded version of Rain City Roost Co’s Kona Coop. It is 1-1/2 years old. We added a covered roof to the attached run and increased the height of the run to 6 feet, extended the run length by 3 feet, and built a redwood ramp. Built to last using high-quality weather-resistant Redwood and Douglas Fir lumber. It is lightweight enough to move using two people, but very sturdy and secure.
Key Features:
• Premium Materials: Built with Douglas Fir and Redwood and hardware cloth.
• Smart Design: The 4ft high henhouse sits directly atop a built-in lower mesh run which is attached to the main run, maximizing your run space. Narrow profile fits into side yards easily.
• Modular Transport: The detachable egg-laying nesting box easily unscrews to shorten the footprint for easy travel!
Dimensions:
• Total Combined Length: Approx. 11’6” Long x 4’0” Wide x 6’0” High. It can be broken down into 3 components:
• Main Chicken Run: 9’2” L x 3’0” W x 6’0” H
• Henhouse Section: 2’3-1/2” L x 3’0” W x 4’0” H
• Detachable Nesting Box: 2’3-1/2” L x 1’1-1/2” W
Buyer Transportation Guide:
Please review these dimensions carefully before arriving. Because the total footprint is 11'6" long, you’ll need appropriate transport:
• 15-Foot Moving Box Truck: the entire structure should fit completely enclosed with the back door shut.
• 12-Foot Utility Trailer: An open flatbed or utility trailer (at least 12ft long)
• Pickup Truck (Short Loads): If you unscrew and remove the nesting box, the profile will be narrower (3 ft) and easier to move. The run should fit in a long-bed pickup with the tailgate down but you’ll need to make two trips or bring a second truck.
$475 OBO. Cash only. You’ll need to bring someone familiar with a drill, another set of strong hands to help lift/load, and work gloves. You’ll need to bring high-quality ratchet straps to secure it to your vehicle. Located on the San Mateo County coastside.
