We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Millwright.
The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.
The Millwright role requires a strong foundation in industrial mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and precision measurement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and field service operations, contributing to the seamless functioning of our manufacturing processes. A commitment to safety, quality, and customer service is essential in this dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Install, assemble, align, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other machinery.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Perform rigging, lifting, and positioning of heavy equipment.
Use precision measuring and alignment tools.
Inspect machinery to identify worn, damaged, or defective components.
Replace bearings, belts, gears, shafts, seals, and other mechanical components.
Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication when required.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Work independently or as part of a maintenance team.
Experience
Previous experience as a Millwright or Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Experience with rigging and industrial equipment installation.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments.
Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment safely.
Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
Commitment to workplace safety.
Pay rate: $20 to $25 an hour for semi-skilled millwrights; $26 to $30 to highly skilled millwrights. Based on experience.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7 am to 5:30 pm.
