Replaced hybrid batteries 02/24/24. under warranty for 3 years..
The hybrid batteries replaced in Feb. of 2024 were replaced again in June of 2025. They will likely run fine for another 2 yrs. I've had no issues with them.
Gets 32 mpg using ac, 39-42mpg without ac.
I paid $2000 for it. And $1500 for the warranteed hybrid batteries. i purchased it from an asian car mechanic in Nov. 2022. He installed newspark plugs, air flow sensor & windshield. New wiper blades last week of Aug. Front tires new in March. Less than 2,900 miles on em.
ac & heat work really well.
Excellent car. Used all around town, but also went to Iowa, Kansas City, back to Iowa and back to Mobile. No problems at all. Very reliable.
The oil on dipstick in picture has 2,400 miles on it. No leaks. I've had it look that good with 5k miles on it. Doesn't run as hot as a normal engine. They regularly last to 400k miles.
I think the reason for hybrid battery replacement in June of 2025 was the extreme cold in January of 2025 with the snowfall. I was sick and unable to start the car for a week I'm moving to Iowa. I don't think it would do well up there.
