An Inspired by Gibson Custom version of the King of the Flat-Tops as it appeared in its popular 1957 configuration
The Gibson SJ-200™ was introduced to the world in 1937 and quickly earned the nickname “the King of the Flat-Tops” due to its physical size, high-quality sound, exceptional projection, and undeniable stage presence. While the early models used rosewood, in 1947, the wood used for the sides and back changed to maple. The SJ-200 has been used by everyone from matinee cowboys to folk troubadours, country crooners to rock royalty, and vintage SJ-200 models are in high demand among collectors. Now, Epiphone, in collaboration with Gibson Custom, is proud to introduce the 1957 SJ-200 Reissue, an Inspired by Gibson Custom recreation of the majestic 1957 Super Jumbo...Highlights
