Pay Range: $50,000 to $65,000 / year
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am to 5pm
Job Summary:
Auto Technician is responsible for performing skilled repair and maintenance work on a variety of vehicles with minimal supervision. This role requires solid diagnostic abilities, proficiency with common repair procedures, and the capability to complete work efficiently and accurately. The technician will inspect, diagnose, and repair ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. Additional duties include performing manufacturer recommended maintenance, documenting all repairs, and communicating effectively with service advisors and team members. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety conscious, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical systems and HVAC systems
Perform routine maintenance services sus as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, tpms, alignments, suspension, exhaust, brakes, fuel injection cleaning, coolant, transmission and coolant flushes
Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify issues and determine necessary repairs
Follow manufacturer specifications and service procedures for all repairs and maintenance tasks
Communicate findings and repair needs to service advisors clearly and professionally
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area in compliance with company
Document all repairs and services performed in the work order system with accuracy and completeness
Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians when needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical or vocational training
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an automotive technician
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
