We are a well-established custom printing and manufacturing company seeking a dependable, hands-on person to inspect finished work and help supervise day-to-day production activities.
This position is ideal for someone who notices details, uses good common sense, works well with people, and is comfortable taking responsibility.
Primary Responsibilities
Quality Inspection
• Inspect printed labels, nameplates, panels, overlays, and other manufactured products.
• Compare finished work to drawings, proofs, samples, and job specifications.

• Work with operators to correct problems before the job is completed or shipped.
• Maintain basic inspection and quality records.
•

•
The Person We Are Looking For
The right person will be:
• Very observant and detail-oriented
• Dependable and consistent
• Patient enough to inspect repetitive work carefully
• Comfortable making decisions
• Willing to question something that doesn't look right
• Able to work with and direct people respectfully
• Organized and able to follow several jobs at once
• Practical — understands the difference between an important defect and an insignificant variation
• Interested in preventing mistakes rather than explaining them afterward
• Comfortable using rulers, calipers, magnification, and other basic inspection equipment
•
Printing or manufacturing experience is helpful, but good judgment, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to learn may be more important than direct printing experience.
Our Basic Quality Philosophy
If something doesn't look right — stop and ask.
We would rather investigate a questionable part before it ships than explain a problem to a customer afterward.
This is a hands-on position for someone who takes satisfaction in getting the job right and helping others get it right.
Principals only. Recruiters, please don't contact this job poster.
