Short walking distance to downtown Millbrae and Millbrae Square shopping (Safeway, TJ's, Walgreens, Starbucks, etc.). Farmers' market on Saturdays, a few blocks away. Easy access to Bart, buses, and SF airport.
No smoking/pets/drugs/parties/overnight guests, or drama

I am in my late 40's and an educator who needs a full eight hours of sleep from 10-7. I try to get out of the house as much as possible with my dog on the weekends, but I do enjoy resting at home. I am way past my party stage and appreciate the quietness and the small community I live in. The room has a window and is right next to the bathroom. Door locks from the inside of the bedroom and can replace the lock so that it can be locked with a key.
Having another educator, I think, would be ideal as the work can be draining and understanding the sanctuary is necessary for sustainability in this field. I think only a true educator would understand that. I love my job and love teaching students, but taking care of oneself is critical to showing up for the students and being at peace outside of work and in general life.
Having said that I open to the right fit in terms of lifestyles and privacy. In terms of making sure we are a good fit the first 3 months would be a trial period and then we can come up with another rental agreement for the next three.
