We are looking for a dependable Basic Carpenter / Fixture Installer to join our construction and team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience who is comfortable performing general carpentry, installing fixtures, and completing a variety of punch-list and finish work.
The right candidate should be able to work independently, follow plans and instructions, maintain a clean work area, and take pride in quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
-Perform basic carpentry and general construction tasks
-Install and replace fixtures, hardware, shelving, doors, and other building components
-Install cabinets, trim, baseboards, and other finish items as needed
-Perform minor drywall repairs and patching
-Install bathroom and kitchen accessories and miscellaneous fixtures
-Measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately
-Use common hand and power tools safely
-Complete punch-list and repair work
-Read and follow basic construction drawings and installation instructions
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
-Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades
-Identify materials, tools, or site conditions needed to complete assigned work
-Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
-Previous experience in carpentry, construction, maintenance, or fixture installation
-Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction practices
-Have a drill and basic hand tools for the job
-Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials
-Ability to follow instructions, plans, and specifications
-Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Professional attitude and good communication skills
-OSHA/safety awareness is a plus
