Small junk removal and estate cleanout company in Northwest Indiana. Looking to add a few reliable people to call when jobs come up.
This is on-call/part-time, not steady hours. Some weeks there's work, some there isn't. Mostly evenings and weekends, with the occasional weekday for a big multi-day job. Good fit if you want to stack extra income around another job or a flexible schedule - not a good fit if you need full-time.
Starting at $18/hr, paid on the books (W2, taxes handled). Usually 1-2 people per job.
What the work is: lifting and hauling furniture, appliances, boxes, junk. Loading the trailer, dump runs, sweep-outs. Physical work, some heavy.
What I need from you:
Show up when you say you will
Valid license (some jobs are over in Illinois)
Can lift 50+ lbs all day, including up and down stairs
Not afraid of a dirty job - estate cleanouts get messy
Reliable beats experienced. I'll take someone who answers the phone and shows up over someone with a resume who flakes.
