Two low solid walnut bookcases, handcrafted by Tomfoolery Wood Co. (Etsy shop TomfooleryWood), custom ordered in 2020. Set up as an L in a corner, but they detach into two freestanding pieces via Festool connectors.

Long unit: approx. 50.75"W x 30"H x 12"D. Short unit: approx. 35"W x 30"H x 10"D. Two shelf levels, 10.875" interior shelf height.

From the maker's description: handcrafted from responsibly sourced domestic hardwood; strong permanent joinery built to last longer than a single lifetime; tapered mid-century modern legs; hand-rubbed penetrating clear oil finish, deep satin sheen, no VOCs. No stain or dye, just the natural walnut.
