I’ve had this cabinet for maybe 25 years and have used prob 5 times. Was an impulse buy when I saw it. It’s in excellent shape and has no damage internally or externally. Should be equipped with a 12” celestion speaker as that’s what they came with new. See pics for ohms and power handling.

ADA info

Classic A.D.A. (A.D.A. Amplification) 1x12 guitar speaker cabinets—often associated with their popular 1980s and 1990s stereo/rack gear setups (like the ADA MP-1 preamp)—are well-built compact extension cabs.

Key Details & Specs

• Original Speakers: They typically came loaded with 50-watt Celestion speakers (such as the G12S-50).
• Tone & Performance: Stock G12S-50 speakers offer detailed mids and highs, though some guitarists find them lighter on heavy bass and top-end treble compared to cabinets with Celestion Vintage 30s or Greenbacks.
• Design & Covering: Many units from this era featured a rugged black carpet/felt-style covering common in 1980s rack gear rigs rather than traditional vinyl Tolex.
