Hello, My name is Nakayla and im a 26 year old recent graduate of Maxine Waters Employment Preparation Center.
I recently obtained my CCMA through the NHA with hard work and consistency. Im writing this post with no expectations but im reaching out to try to look for employment. I have 6 months of experience. 3 months of that was my in-person externship at a women's clinic in los angeles county. Looking for employment has been a little harder for me since some places don't count my externship as experience which I really think it is. For 3 consistent months I showed up, never missed a day, I worked, I cleaned, and I even set a few appointments! I have applied endlessly for all kinds of positions i think i am qualified for, All im asking for is a chance to set my foot in the door as a new medical assistant. I dont have years of experience but i do have a drive to learn and contribute to a workplace. I do have a prepared resume for any employers to look at available.
