Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction tasks and be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. This role involves assisting with landscape installations, maintenance, and restoration projects, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
Assist in the installation of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, and mulching.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute project plans accurately.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as needed.
Support restoration efforts for existing landscapes, including planting new vegetation and repairing hardscapes.
Perform Landscape Construction Enhancement tasks, including but not limited to: sod, soil and bark installation, replacement, and/or removal; drainage and irrigation installation, and hardscape construction
Qualifications:
1+ years Landscape Maintenance, Landscape Construction, or General Outdoor Construction Experience Required
Experience with Landscape Construction Equipment Preferred
OR State Driver’s License Preferred
Ability to Communicate in Both English and Spanish Preferred
Commitment to 100% on-time attendance
Attention to Detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Willingness to work outdoors regardless of weather conditions
Operate various Landscape Construction Equipment, such as ditch witches, bobcats, and power tools, etc. (training provided)
Promote and maintain safe working conditions.
Experience
Previous experience in landscaping or construction is preferred.
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
Skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or other trades are beneficial.
