**Selected candidates must be available to perform a working interview on October 6th. The working interview will take approximately 2 hours and will pay $60.**
Our family business, Desert Coast Metering, is looking for reliable, self-motivated and organized people for ongoing part-time work reading utility meters at a variety of locations in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. This portfolio currently includes properties in Marina Del Rey, Hawthorn, Downey, Whittier, Tustin, and Downtown LA.
Successful candidates will be hard working, reliable, and detail oriented. Job sites may be indoors or outdoors, and work requires walking and bending in all weather conditions.
Hours:
Hours will be site and job specific. This is a great part-time opportunity to pick up extra income on the weekends or around other employment. Hours are generally flexible within a several day window. The current hour requires are:
About 3 hours of work that must be completed between the 1st and 6th of the month
About 1 hour of work that must be completed between the 5th and 10th of the month
About 6 hours of work that must be completed between the 10th and 17th of the month
However, these assignments are subject to change, increase, or decrease based on business and client needs.
Requirements:
*Current driver’s license
*Reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance
*Smartphone with internet access
*You must be physically able to move up and down stairs, walk consistently for a few hours per day, lunge or squat to access ground level equipment, and be able to read tiny dials and numbers on meters and record them ACCURATELY each month
NO METER READING OR UTILITY EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
*We will train you on how to read meters and use the App required for the job
