131 Landscaping is hiring an experienced Landscape Crew Leader to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 season, with opportunities for winter snow removal and continued employment next season.
We are a growing, locally owned lawn and landscape company serving Northeast Ohio. We are looking for someone dependable who has previous professional lawn care or landscaping experience and is comfortable taking responsibility for quality and productivity in the field.
This is not strictly a labor position. The right candidate should be capable of developing into a crew leader who can drive a company truck, operate commercial equipment, work efficiently with another crew member, and complete properties to our standards without constant supervision.
Season: March through November, with winter snow-removal opportunities
Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 40–50 hours per week
Pay: $20–$24 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities include:
• Driving company trucks and trailers between job sites
• Leading and working alongside another crew member
• Professional mowing, trimming, edging and blowing
• Maintaining quality and efficiency throughout the route
• Spring and fall cleanups
• Pruning, weeding, mulching and landscape-bed maintenance
• Planting and landscape installations
• Turf renovation and other landscape projects
• Loading/unloading materials and maintaining organized equipment
Requirements:
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for company insurance
• Reliable transportation to Maple Heights, Ohio
• Previous professional lawn care, landscaping or similar outdoor-work experience preferred
• Ability to safely drive a pickup truck and trailer
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical outdoor work
• Dependable attendance and ability to work a full scheduled workday
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain company quality standards
• Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and customers
Winter Snow-Plow Opportunity
We are also looking for an experienced/reliable driver for commercial snow removal this winter. Candidates interested in continuing through winter may have the opportunity to operate a company plow truck during snow events. A valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier are required.
