Old, solid, strong, but works great. Starts with first pull every year. and I typically keep up with the leaves by vacuuming them once a week for the season instead of waiting till the end. It picks up more than a lawn mower. I have never used the shredder chute on this machine, so I don't know how it works. I like the machine, but we're downsizing and this one is leaving.
