I’m looking for a painter to help me finish painting the exterior of my house in the South Bay. A lot of the painting is finished, but there’s still a lot of painting work that needs to be done.
There’s probably many weeks or more of painting work.
THE WORK INCLUDES:
o Protect the walkways, railings, and other areas with masking and drop cloths
o Power washing walls to get ready for painting.
o A little bit of stucco patching, but almost all of it is already finished
o Priming and Painting the stucco.
o Paint top coat on deck after it’s been power washed
o Clean-up and detailing.
o Some of the windows need to painted, and they will need to be sanded completely first
o There are some items that will get varnished.
THESE ARE SOME OF THE REQUIREMENTS:
o NON SMOKER
o NO DRUGS or ALCOHOL on the job.
o Work safely and attention to detail.
o You will need to supply me with a few reference contacts that I can call to confirm that you have some experience and that you are reliable. We can talk more about this when we talk on the phone.
o You will need to be able to work by yourself and stay off of your phone while you are working. I can help you get set up each day and help you move the ladder, but most of the time you will be working by yourself.
o Be reliable and show up on time. You provide your own transportation
o Must be able to carry and climb a ladder. This is a 2 story house and some of the work will be up high on an extension ladder.
I can supply the tools, materials, and equipment. The pay is $25/hr for someone with experience with this type of work.
