1981 SR Gran Course Mixte - Beautiful! - $120 (manhattan)

Manufactured for only 2 years by Miki in Japan, this SR has been completely gone through, refurbished, and updated by Kids’ Bike Recycling. 21” (53cm) mixte frame can accommodate a wide range or rider heights, but is probably best for someone 5’6” to 5’9”. Top tube is 22”, stand over height is only 27”.
The paint has some chips and scrapes and some decals have mars. Overall, the paint is shiny and the bike looks in very good condition.
This SR has been completely serviced and updated and is 100% ready to ride and enjoy. For you gear heads, here’s a list of the work that was done:
• Stripped to bare frame; frame cleaned, waxed
• New sealed cartridge bottom bracket. 113mm length gives a 45mm chainline for good shifting
• Hubs and headset bearings cleaned, lubed, adjusted. Uniglide cassette (14-28) cleaned
• New Shimano triple crankset (42/32/22) for wide range gearing and easy hill climbing
• Modern derailleurs installed to handle wide range gearing
• New Shimano shifters
• New cables and housing
• New handlebars, grips, and brake levers
• Chain cleaned and lubed
• Vintage Avocet 180mm seat is a good size for many women. A variety of other seats available
• New brake pads
• New Schwalbe tires, new inner tubes
• New pedals
• Wheels trued
• All other components cleaned and adjusted
