Vintage Solid Cherry Dining Set - Table, 2 Leaves, Pads, & 6 Chairs - $2,800 (Manchester)

This beautiful solid cherry heirloom dining set was crafted by the celebrated Harden Furniture Company (3101 Series). Purchased brand new in the early 1980s (by my parents), this set has been cared for in a single home, almost always with its protected padded covers. Instead of a basic, generic oval, this beautiful Queen Anne design features a distinctive silhouette with a scalloped apron and cabriole legs, giving it a high-end, custom architectural look.
Harden Furniture was founded in McConnellsville, NY in 1844. Known for their generational craftsmanship and sustainable forestry, they sadly closed their doors in 2018 after 174 years of operation. Because they are no longer in production, authentic solid cherry wood sets like this are becoming increasingly rare, highly collectible, and are steadily rising in vintage market value. On premium antique marketplaces like Chairish, similar Harden Queen Anne dining tables alone list for anywhere from $3,500 to $5,500+. And this set is not merely the table, it includes:
• 1 Solid Cherry Extension Table (64" length baseline)
• 2 Matching 16" Extension Leaves (allows the table to expand seamlessly to a grand 96")
• 6 Custom Queen Anne Dining Chairs (Includes 4 side chairs and 2 coordinating armchairs)
• Complete Custom Table Protection Pads (Includes insulating protective pads tailored perfectly for the main tabletop, plus separate extension pads for both leaves)
Condition:
The solid cherry table and chair frames are structurally rock-solid and in fantastic vintage condition. There is some minor where at one end of the table (as pictured) as well as a minor scratch in one of the leaves (as pictured). The upholstered seat cushions are currently wrapped in the original fabric; the inner padding is somewhat compressed from years of family memory-making, but the drop-in seats can be effortlessly updated or completely reupholstered in an afternoon to match your exact home decor. One of the armchair cushions has fabric damage (as pictured).
Bring a piece of authentic, disappearing American history into your home for $2800 OBO. This is furniture built to survive generations.
Please do not message only to ask generically “is this still available.” There are too many scams and I will not answer this kind of inquiry. If the ad is up, it is available.
