This position will provide security presence on the mine property while operating a marked Polaris UTV.
POSITION DETAILS:
$30.00–$35.00/hour depending on experience and credentials
12-hour daytime shifts, 5:30 AM–5:30 PM
Coverage required 7 days per week
Temporary assignment from October through December
Lodging at the 7 Sky Motel provided
Marked Polaris UTV provided for patrol duties
REQUIREMENTS:
Current law enforcement officer strongly preferred
Retired law enforcement officers may also be considered
Must provide verification of current or prior law enforcement credentials
Must meet Arizona requirements applicable to the assignment
Retired officers working in an armed security capacity must possess or be able to obtain the appropriate Arizona armed security credentials
MSHA Part 48 training required or ability to complete required training prior to starting
Must complete any additional mine-specific safety/site training
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Must be comfortable operating a UTV on an active mine property
Professional appearance and communication skills
Dependable and able to work assigned 12-hour shifts
