This unit has lived permanently in my studio rack and is in absolutely beautiful condition. It has never been toured or subjected to the wear normally associated with professional rack equipment.
The 4-710d is an incredibly versatile front end for a professional recording studio, providing four channels of Universal Audio's Twin-Finity preamps. Each channel allows you to continuously blend between a Class-A tube signal path and solid-state/transimpedance signal path, giving you a huge range of tonal options.
Each of the four channels also includes 1176-style compression, and the unit provides eight channels of high-quality A/D conversion.
