This unit has been permanently installed in my studio rack and carefully maintained. It has never been toured or subjected to the normal wear associated with live or mobile equipment.
The SE-1X is a serious monophonic analog synthesizer built around three discrete voltage-controlled oscillators and two classic analog filter designs: a 24dB ladder-style filter and 12dB low-pass/band-pass filter. It also provides three LFOs, four envelopes, ring modulation, noise generation and extensive MIDI control.
It's particularly well known for producing huge analog basses, leads, effects and classic vintage-style synth sounds while offering the convenience of patch memory and MIDI control.
