I am afraid to take it to Habitat for Humanity Restore dropoff because it's pretty niche. You'd have to have one of the compatible primary switches and a neutral wire in the companion box. Someone would take it home and be mad because there's no primary switch with it, and as far as I know, it's useless then. Disclaimer: I'm not an electrician, and can't help you if you somehow get this thing to break something. In fact, if you are a mid DIYer like me, and your wiring doesn't match the diagrams in the box, you should probably call an electrician. I spent more than 6 hours experimenting with another one of these things and screaming in frustration until I gave up and called an electrician who told me that the white wire in the secondary box was not, in fact, the neutral I required.
