• 2000 Dodge Explorer 3500 Class B motorhome built on the Dodge Ram Van 3500 chassis
• Spacious interior (loads of storage space. Like crazy amount of storage)
• Kitchen with sink and counter
• Bathroom with shower and sink. Medicine cabinet. I took out the old toilet as I did not want to deal with black water waste and put in a new Trelino brand toilet that has a custom-made base (never ended up using it, but of course it’s great to have on hand!)
• Huge water storage tank
• Took out floor carpeting and put in hardwood flooring (looks really nice).
• Comfortable bed is in the back and a couch that pulls out into another bed (both sleep one person comfortably).
• Microwave/convection oven (I never used it, but they should work)
• If you are plugged in, you can use the air conditioning/heater (there is of course AC and heat when the van is on coming from the van, but this is a separate unit if makes sense). I only used the separate air-conditioning for a minute. It works great (as does the AC/heat from the van - i’m not sure how to explain the difference correctly)
• New Max fan! Very quiet. Makes it really comfortable as it keeps circulation going.
• Refrigerator. It has been rewired so that it not only runs off of solar, but it runs while the van is driving, maximizing cooling.
• Hot water heater
• Exterior shower
• Two solar panels on the roof are hooked up to two Marine batteries • Very clean inside and out. I don’t believe there is any rust. Previous owners would drive it down to Arizona for the winter (no salt!)
• Super low mileage - A little over 54,000 miles
• It is an extended van, but you can usually park it in a normal parking spot
• I installed a backup camera to help going in reverse.
• As the van is not standard as to what you find more commonly these days, I made blackout window coverings and devised a system to create absolute privacy. I also custom-fit mosquito netting for the side door.
• New smoke and carbon monoxide detector
• Gigantic awning pops out on the side (best if you are settling in somewhere for a while).
• When plugged into a 30 amp post (plug included), you can easily run all devices (hot water heater, AC/heat, water pump, etc.) and lights.
• Tires and brakes are in good condition
• Brand new spare tire
• I have all the paperwork, manual, repair receipts, old brochures, etc.
• In addition to the van's low mileage, cleanliness, and storage space, you can be flexible with where you settle in. You can be on the street, at a campsite, in the middle of nowhere, or at a formal RV camp. It all works!
• Asking price: 26,000
