Leslie 147 amplifier was rebuilt with new capacitors, diodes, and some resistors
Tubes are vintage RCA (6550, 12AU7, OC3)
Motors were disassembled and cleaned
New rubber tires installed for slow-speed motors
New bearings (2) installed for lower rotor
New bearing (1) installed for upper belt tensioner
New Old Stock (NOS) cloth upper belt
Excellent cloth lower belt
Crossover was rebuilt with high quality capacitors
Original Jensen V21 sounds excellent
Original Utah 15 inch speaker sounds excellent (Mike P's favorite speaker)
Original scrim cloth (no tears but a few pin holes)
Cabinet has plywood shelves (no particleboard)
All three back covers included
One previous owner
All components have date codes 1969 - 1970
Inside of speaker cabinet was emptied, vacuumed and cleaned with Murphy's Oil Soap. Outside of cabinet was cleaned and reconditioned but has many scratches and chips.
If you're a collector looking for a museum-piece, this Leslie won't be for you. This Leslie is suited for a church, rehearsal/recording studio, or anyone looking for a great sounding, restored Leslie where aesthetics are not critical.
On-site inspections welcome. Easy roll out. There are no steps or stairs. You can try it out using my Korg CX-3 and TrekII preamp pedal or Leslie combo preamp. Or feel free to bring your own keyboard or instrument with 1/4 inch output.
