Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Residential Luxury Remodeling Foreman to join our team.
This is a hands-on leadership position designed for someone who has spent years in residential construction and remodeling and knows how to both do the work and manage the work.
This position is approximately a 50/50 split between working in the field and overseeing projects. One day you may be performing drywall repairs, tile work, punch-list items, or other remodeling tasks, and the next day you may be visiting multiple job sites, coordinating subcontractors, checking quality, and working alongside the Project Manager.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, stays organized, communicates well, and understands the level of professionalism and attention to detail expected when working in high-end residential homes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:
* 20+ years of construction and residential remodeling experience
* Strong hands-on experience with:
* Painting
* Drywall repair and installation
* Tile work
* General carpentry and remodeling
* Light electrical work
* Light plumbing work
* Handyman and make-ready work
* Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans
* Experience working with and overseeing subcontractors
* Ability to use Google Drive and Microsoft Office 365
* Driving trailer experience
* Must be willing to dump trailer at dump yard
* Strong note-taking and documentation skills
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and clients
* Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
* Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
* Must own the necessary tools to perform general remodeling and handyman work
* Must be comfortable traveling to projects throughout the Greater Houston area
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Organizing and maintaining clean, professional job sites
* Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is completed correctly
* Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and other trades
* Working closely with the Project Manager to keep projects moving
* Reviewing construction plans and project scopes
* Performing regular quality-control inspections
* Identifying workmanship issues before they become client concerns
* Making sure subcontractors meet quality standards
* Taking detailed notes, photos, and documenting job-site progress
* Communicating job-site conditions and needs to the Project Manager
* Helping maintain project schedules
* Communicating professionally with homeowners when needed
* Performing punch-list and warranty items
* Completing handyman and make-ready tasks as they arise
* Performing hands-on remodeling work when needed
* Keeping job sites clean, organized, and presentable
* Helping solve day-to-day field problems quickly and professionally
What This Position Looks Like
This is not a traditional superintendent position where you only supervise other people.
We are looking for a working foreman.
Approximately 50% of your time will be hands-on, completing remodeling, repairs, punch-list items, and other field work.
The other 50% will be management and oversight — visiting projects, checking subcontractors’ work, maintaining quality control, coordinating with the Project Manager, and making sure our projects are being completed to Big Buck’s standards.
One day you’re working on the house. The next day you’re managing the people working on the house.
The right person for this position is someone who has decades of construction knowledge but is still willing and able to put on a tool belt when the job requires it.

Our office is located in Friendswood, Texas, and we service homeowners throughout the Greater Houston area.
