Immediate Work Available | 5 Kiosks Ready | Ongoing Opportunities
We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual or contractor to help transport, install, and maintain outdoor kiosks at various locations throughout Lubbock, TX.
We currently have 5 kiosks built and ready for installation, with the first installation needed ASAP. Additional installations and ongoing maintenance work will be available as we expand.
PROJECT DETAILS:
1. Transportation & Placement
Each kiosk is approximately 8 ft. wide, constructed of heavy-duty steel square tubing, and weighs approximately 600 lbs.
Transport kiosks to designated locations throughout Lubbock.
Safely unload, position, level, and secure each kiosk according to site requirements.
Must have a truck, trailer, and access to the necessary equipment.
2. Solar Power System Installation
Mount a preassembled, prewired, and programmed solar power system onto the kiosk.
The solar equipment is already assembled and requires basic mounting.
Six wires will already be routed outside the enclosure for connection to the lighting system.
No solar system design or programming is required.
3. LED Lighting Installation
Mount four LED lights per kiosk:
Two longer LED light bars (front and rear).
Two smaller LED lights (one on each side).
Route, secure, and connect the existing low-voltage wiring from the solar system to the lights.
Test all lights to verify proper operation.
4. Security Camera Installation
Mount 1–2 wireless security cameras with their own small solar panels.
Cameras will already be configured and ready for installation.
Installation requires basic mounting hardware and proper positioning.
5. Protective Bollards (Depending on Location)
Certain locations may require 4–6 concrete bollards around the kiosk for protection against vehicle damage.
Bollard installation requirements will vary by location and will be quoted separately.
REQUIREMENTS:
Own or have access to a suitable truck and trailer.
Ability to safely transport, unload, and position equipment weighing approximately 600 lbs each.
Experience with basic electrical wiring, drilling, mounting, and general installation work preferred.
Own basic hand tools and power tools.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
COMPENSATION & FUTURE WORK:
We prefer to establish Pricing Per Kiosk Installation, rather than hourly. Different location transportation costs, possible concrete work, and any additional site requirements will be added accordingly.
We are especially interested in finding someone who can become our go-to installer in Lubbock for future kiosk installations, service calls, repairs, and ongoing maintenance.
