The job (done by Monday):
1. Paint ONE rock with anything Buddy Holly — his iconic glasses, his name, a lyric ("That'll Be the Day," "Peggy Sue," "Everyday") — anything recognizable.
2. Place it somewhere public and Buddy-significant — the statue & West Texas Walk of Fame at the Buddy and Maria Elena Holly Plaza (19th & Crickets), the Buddy Holly Center right across the street (home of the giant horn-rims), the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts, or any spot he'd like.
3. Take a photo of the rock in place with a handwritten note reading "DeedSpring 9/7/26" visible in the frame.
